This is a paint sketch, one of many, that I've been working on over the last few days. I'm doing a bunch of these small (around 4 x 5 inch) color paintings that I'm selling on my blog probably next week.
Nice one Aeron. In the current state the turtles appear almost ghostly, or as if they were made of ice. The motif reminds me of the "turtles all the way down"-anecdote. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turtles_all_the_way_down
Thanks, I hadn't heard of the turtles all the way down, very bizarre! The first thing I thought after sketching it out was some sort of Dr Seuss something or other.
I really like the style on this one, the paint looks a bit transparent with just the right amount of detail, very tricky to pull off!
