I'VE ALWAYS BEEN OBSESSED WITH THE UNCLE REMUS STORIES. I HAVE A COPY OF "SONG OF THE SOUTH" ON VHS WHICH I BOUGHT FROM PROFESSOR CURTIS A LONG WHILE AGO. ANYHOW, WE'RE DOING T-SHIRTS OF THE CENTRAL CHARACTERS & WHEN WE GET THE KID'S MAGAZINE GOING, WE'RE GOING TO PUBLISH ILLUSTRATED VARIATIONS ON THOSE STORIES ALSO.
I didn't know about that Remus, sounds interesting. I don't know if this touch europe, i searched on wiki there's no french article about it
ReplyDeleteI remeber having those read to me when I was really young. I hardly remember any of them though... only the thing about the tar baby, which kind of horrified me at the time.
