I gotta do like another fifty characters in the next couple weeks in order to complete a window art display for the Eugene Store Front Art Project. I'm going to arrange 72 characters in a 7 foot tall by 9 foot wide grid with a couple larger versions of the characters painted on canvas.

More Pizza Party Characters.
My brain is literally exploding with characters.
El Marko the street art ninja.
Willy Buttermilk, the world's greatest poet. His best friend is an alligator or maybe it's a crocodile. He wrote an epic poem entitled, "THE ULTIMATE WARRIOR MEETS ARSENIO HALL"
Internut, taking Virtual Reality to the streets. SOME NEXT LEVEL EXTREME TYPE OF SHIT.
Mega Burger Rainbow.

FLICKRING
I finally made a Flickr page. it seems like every artist who is anybody has one. I want to be somebody too.
Here it is. I hope I got the link right and that is not my landing page that no one else can look at. These darn computers.
If anyone wants to favoritize any of my images or include me in any groups, that would be swell.

A couple of new pieces and a new website!
Here's a couple of shirt's I finished up within the past couple of weeks. The first is a tour shirt for the bands The Communion and Transient, both of whom I had done a shirt for when they toured the east coast over the summer.
Second is a shirt for the awesome Oh Shit They're Going to Kill Us from PA. I got to use 4 colors this time around, and I'm really excited with how everything came out.
Finally, I have a new portfolio website up! Check out www.jgillustration.com, where I have a more condensed and professional portfolio up!
Lemme know what you guys think! Word.

funny
I have mixed feelings about posting this, because I'm trying to leave behind the negative misanthropic feelings that comedy plagues me with,, but this is hilarious. I hope you dont have to be Scottish to find this funny...
...I might have some art for you soon. The last 8 drawings went wrong.

new ink "Triumvirate"
Just finished this one, I packed it with a bit of symbolism. And for once I'd like to describe what some of the stuff means, at least for me personally. From the Left- the tree: represents ascendancy, the Skyscraper: represents civilization, knowledge, and the Female: represents reproduction, fertility. On the guy on the right, the "H+" arm band stands for Transhumanism. I see the 3 as symbolizing the most important ideals in my world and I guess in the real one as well.

Baga Yack and the Baby
detail of current work in progress. You can see the guts of the picture here which will get covered over with obsessive layers of various textural details. I've just barely begun on the hair of the beast, it will have a sort of tattered fur like wig. The baby wil be deformed, possibly mutilated. I considered having its head ripped off and hanging out of the beasts mouth, might still do that. Baga Yack is a sort of boogyman, no reference to any folk legends, just a generalized monster that snatches babies in their sleep for a small meal in the night.
And yes, the name is inspired by Baba Yaga.

No Bird Chirps, No Insect Hums... SOMETHING EVIL THIS WAY COMES!
One of three pictures made for the Metal Mad show at the Giant Robot gallery in New York, opens this weekend. New York people check it out!
The 16 x 18 inch print for this thing looks amazing, I planned on taking my evil up to eleven for this show but I might have gone up to twelve!
