Here's my contribution to the Bilderberg Zine. It's a cover version of a page from Swamp Thing.

The Things We Do
These are a couple of panels from a new Ray Murphy comic I finished recently. The story is a loose adaptation of a chinese fairy tale, and I made it for a fairy tale-themed German-Chinese anthology project.

The Theta Case - Old & New
Ok, so last time I promised I'd post a comparison of the new and old versions of my latest comic. The original version was done in 1998 and basically was my first attempt at digital painting. I dind't really know what I was doing and it took me ages; I used some photos as reference and for the backgrounds.
The story was based on a dream I had which gave me the initial idea for the whole Ray Murphy storyline.

Night Stroll
Here are a few panels of a new ray Murphy story that I've been working on lately. It's actually an extended remake of the very first one I did about this character. I decided to redo it because I want to make it work with the rest of the stories and there was a huge difference in style. It's also more than twice as long now and contains a bit more information about what (RM thinks) is going on. I'll post more of it soon, perhaps along with some of the old story.
This new version will be published in the Netherlands in PULPMAN #12.

Li'l Ray
Here's the first of eight pages from a story I did for the upcoming House of Twelve anthology "Touching Children's Stories".

It's kind of an origin story of Ray Murphy and Molluskhead. I think at some point it will make a fitting prologue to a Ray Murphy's Collected Adventures book.

Deconstructing Murphy
Here's a preview of my Voida Voida contribution. In the Zine the images will be "colored" in greyscales though.

Avid followers of my internet exploits might notice that it's kind of a follow-up to my contribution to the first TCJ narrative corpse. For all you not-so-avid followers out there, here are some links to the corpse pages in question:

HPL Expo Contribution
Boy, things have been going awfully slow on our Blog, haven't they. I for my part was really busy with moving, renovating, and last but not least I did a short 5-page comic for the Lovecraft exposition in Switzerland, which I believe Aeron and Noah are also participating in. The comic kind of ties into my Molluskhead chronology, and I've based each page on one entry from the "Commonplace Book" (which is basically the concept of the expo), but the book itself also plays a part in the story.
Here are the first two pages:

Bichromatic contd.
Three more pages of the revised Molluskhead story. As you can see I changed the layout for my latest page and split it up to fit the square-ish format of the book.

And a Kirby panel inked by yours truly, inspired by a TCJ thread about a Flickr challenge.

Molluskhead
Been working on a short comic lately as well as a proper design for my website, both of which arent't done quite yet.
However, just for fun I did a digital painting of Molluskhead yesterday, the second main character of my ongoing series of short stories Ray Murphy - Detective of Dreams. As some of you may know Ray Murphy's "cases" are actually dream adaptations, a fact he is not at all aware of. Murphy - the dream self - is a staunch realist and constantly trying to find out why his universe is so fucked. His mute assistant Molluskhead on the other hand kind of represents the all-knowing unconscious that discloses nothing and often helps Murphy without him noticing it.

Two complete Molluskhead strips can be viewed here and here.
