a couple of recent flyers I did, one for a group show, one for a stage at Roskilde Festival

Meet the Duckface Brothers

Trying to come up with some fun secondary characters for the follow-up story in my The 9th Island cycle. I don't know if it is going to make sense to use these guys. We'll see. For now, they are on the cover of sketchbook #58.

Melvins gig poster

Here's a silkscreen poster I designed for one of my favorite bands, the Melvins.

logos

I tried to make some logos for various metal related crew, first one is still with no answer after 6 months, second is the first i have been paid for but the crew didn't want it, and next 2 ones were on challenge but largely failed for digital works benefit. So I think I wont attempt anymore. Here's one of the last 2 that i changed a little so its not spefically meant now

Then I also tried to work back on linen, i have not so much left so i first tried with little ones. Usually this is large like 2 meter / 2.5 meter. Here's half or quarter of this, and the blue one is made on 70x100cm paper leave.. Also want to break with tiny lines and work with big tools, fat pincels and roller painter.

Sex in the jungle!

Ah shoot, we just missed it.
This is where yet another episode of my 'Islands' story starts. This is a kind of prequel (their oldest daughter is not born yet), entitled The Upside Down Island, which will explain the how and why of Kali's cannibalism. Some new characters will be introduced in an exchange of half-truths, somewhat inspired by Kurosawa's Rashomon.

KRANIBAL

Thought I'd better get it together and post some new-ish works on here. This is the cover for a forthcoming Andrew Liles record 'MONSTER'.

The 9th Island - prison dialogue

Comics theory in a prison cell. From 'The Square Island', the sequel to The 9th Island. It takes place one generation later.

HOORAY FOR THE BAD GUYS

So I'm working on this Dungeon Degenerates Fantasy World & just knocked out this new poster, "Hooray For the Bad Guys". I'm simultaneously working on the "Return To Fantasy" issue of PORK magazine & I'm crystalizing this enormous, but amorphous fantasy world that has been in my head for most of my life. Made out of paint fumes & fleeting glances of daemonic entities, virginal maidens lost in the forest, spider webs, goblin skulls & the primordial energies that lurk in the mazes of our minds. It's fun. It's fun & it feels like a big deal. You can get the poster at the GOBLINKO MEGAMALL.

Topsy turvy fishing

The backside of sketchbook #57. Currently assembling ideas for the 'upside down world', a concept going back to medieval culture. I might do a large drawing with Gwen Stok along this theme, but also part of my The 9th Island story will contain an episode referring to it.

EBD Berlin show opening - April 22 2016

So our Berlin show opened yesterday evening and I would say it was a big success. Lots of people showed up and judging from their reactions they generally liked what the saw. Here's a couple of photos to give you an impression of what the show looked like.
