Another excellent glimpse into this bizarre world. So do you come up with back stories for these characters or just let the imagery speak for itself?

This looks like some kind of mystical fascists boys academy photo.

Aeron and ULand. Yeah, they're basically the the kids of the higher class, in my made up world. Society Hill is this sort of utopian area where that class lives- the class right below the aristocracy. As for as the fascistic look- I've been dropping little hints of fascism (in the mirror darkly way) like in "Six Virtues" or "Pilgrimage". Partly inspired by movies like "Titus Andronicus" fundementally for the same reasons why Lucas had Darth Vadar look German/Samuri, and the Empire looking like a bunch of fascists. It's just an evil look that works. That appeals to me, especially since I was in Europe when skinheads and neo-nazis were running rampand, and that made a visual impression on me, when it comes to the bad-guy type of look.

do you know Ferdinand Holder? He made many paintings with 4 o 5 characters. He may interest you...

gaiihain- his work seems interesting, it apears that Odd Nerdrum borrwed heavily from some of his works. However, those days I'm very much interested in art that has very little to do with my own. I don't know what that stems from. I still have a couple favorites, that I still get inspired by. But currently I'm really fascinated by architecture, expressive abstract from the 30's/40's and, actually, movies.
