The Whore Of Babylon

I guess I'm a sucker for the classics.

This is a panel from some new project in which comics and poetry are put together. However my writing parner is not a poet but a researcher into the world of sex workers. So we are isolating some quotes from her interviews and I'll try and think of images to them. Not quite sure how this works out, but we all should try something new, once in a while.
Instead of the markers I usually take, I am using an old-fashioned dip pen and Indian ink. Which turns out to be more fun than I thought it would be.

I wish you to finish this project successfully. I'm interested into The Whore Of Babylon allegorical figure a lot as well, this theme gives lots of thoughts and it's inspirational. Your visual expression and this plot gives weird and playful mood. She doesn't look like the Mother of Prostitutes and Abominations of the Earth, more like a waggish drunkard :]
