Hi, everyone! Sorry, I've been silent for a while. I got laid off from work, so now I'm 100% freelance. Going to see how this works out. I'm certainly much happier without having to commute to New York City every day. Anyway, two things. First, is a drawing I made last night of an industrious Elder One :

Second, I went to Sandy Hook the other day and stumbled across something terrible, so I filmed it and made a little movie. I wouldn't normally post videos here, but I think it's somewhat appropriate.

That's a wonderful Elder One, Kurt. One of the best depictions I've seen so far.

And the poor vole (?) remided me of a hedgehog I once found in my parents' garden. It had fallen into a ditch and couldn't climb out. But the really bad thing was that it had hurt its eye and a fly had laid eggs into the wound. The probably can guess the rest.... We tried to remove the maggots but then we realized that they had already burrowed deep into the hedgehog's skull. So much for "mother nature cares for us"...

At least all those ticks will eventually drop off of that vole when they're done feeding, so he might actually survive.

I wonder if it was rabid. It was just constantly running around in circles. I went away for about 40 minutes and came back and it was still there. Circling.

Disgusting and scary video. When working as a shepherd i had to remove maggots from sheep. In the joints it is quite long to do. In the hear it is really painful for the sheep. You can actually remove them in the skull (once a lamb had so many holes in the head it would drip water everywhere when drinking). The problem is that the maggots come back, two day after everything is to do again. If you use bleach you kill the maggots without having to remove them one by one and they don't come back. We don't have maggots every summers, hot summers are bad.

"once a lamb had so many holes in the head it would drip water everywhere when drinking" Wow! What an image. I probably have a completely wrong image of it, but it's VERY disturbing.
