Face Not Even A Mother Could Love!

Here's an in progress fragment from the previously mentioned American Werewolf In London artwork I'm doing. I think I mentioned that here anyway. Still needs a lot of polishing but it's a good start. It will be published in Electric Ant #2. The full artist list can be viewed here.

The original is going to be poster sized, something like 25 x 15 inches. So I'll be able to make really great looking giant prints of it.

Is this digital too Aeron? I originally came to your art through that series of hundreds? thousands? of very small pen and ink monster drawings you did. At first, it was jarring to me to see your digital art, but I've been absolutely floored by what you can create with a computer. This is really terrifyingly delightful stuff.

Thanks, yes this is digital. I try to approach it like a painting though.

This looks like a fucked up rubber halloween mask of the $75 variety that got run over by a million cars.

I would love to see a book/zine by you, Aeron, whose pages were transparent, and the image(s) transformed as they were turned and laid upon one another, like a slow nightmarish animation

Great description Sean, Jeffrey, I've been wanting to do something with transparencies ever since seeing the Tool album that had the translucent pages with art by Alex Grey. It is certainly something I want to experiment with.
