My show in Nancy, France

Until the 23rd of April 2011 will my show continue at the MJC Lillebonne, 14 Rue du Cheval Blanc in the centre of Nancy, France. This is one of the poster-size digital prints I have done with the support of the BKVB Art Fund in Amsterdam. They work really well as the eye-catching element as most of my original artwork tends to be small, not larger than A3 size.

The opening went nicely, in a friendly atmosphere and with lots of good snacks and drinks - yes, the French live up to their reputation, I must say, when it comes to that.

More snapshots can be found on the blog of Matthias Lehmann, who organised the show. http://www.blocmatthias.blogspot.com/

Looks like a great expo Marcel! I certainly would love to see it.

Thanks Fufu. Maybe I should come to Berlin, then? Next stop will be Budapest, however. More about that soon...

Amazing Print, Marcel! I love the play on vintage woodcut design adapted into the more contemporary cartoon style of imagery. I could see you crafting your own cartoon on Adult Swim with characters like this. Hanna Barbera meets Hieronymus Bosch. I can already see a pilot episode in my mind with a group of goofy demon creatures climbing out of the ground to rescue a witch from being burned to death.

Anyway, I wish I could come to France to see the show in person. Do you have a handful of scans of works from the show that I could post on www.monsterbrains.blogspot.com to promote it? I'm sure I've got a few French readers on there.

You're welcome to crash on my couch at any time, Marcel.

@Fufu: I'd be happy to, if I manage to get a show over there!
