Stuff

Been busy lately with a few projects, getting something made for National Geographic Television involving monster fish. Anyone in the New York area will be able to see my art at the Giant Robot gallery in the Metal show they're doing in February. Been thinking about doing a quick and dirty no fucking around comic book involving vikings and witches. Pretty minimal plot about a village where vikings live when not out raping and pillaging that is cursed with a long winter. They have to take a human sacrifice by boat to some distant island to remove the curse and cross through evil waters where giant witches live under the sea. Here is a bit of text that will help me visualize a scene from the comic - "Slithering eels with shriveled human heads splash onto the boat, a sign the cursed waters where the witches dwell approaches."

And here are some awesome 80's covers from the Buffetlibre DJ Rewind Project.

Project Jenny Project Jan - Self Control (Laura Branigan)

Another Self Control Cover, 8 bit style. Not from the Rewind project.

DVAS - Urgent (Foreigner)

Hexes and Ohs - Head Over Heels (Tears For Fears)

Nightwaves - In The Air Tonight (Phil Collins)

Cruel Black Dove - Love My Way(Psychedelic Furs)

Saint Bernadette - Owner of a Lonely Heart (Yes)

I'm trying hard to figure out how the hell your art could fit into a National Geographic special... maybe on Cthulhu-esque cave paintings? I have no idea.

Something involving giant killer catfish.

Some other interesting news, I'm attempting to get a group show inspired by Zdzislaw Beksinski to happen in the coming years. Been talking to some people and its looking like it might happen.

Also, I'm seriously considering, after encouragement from someone in a position to help make it happen, getting a book published inspired by Monster Brains.
