The second one was semi-traced, because I didn't achieve everything I wanted in the first one, but I had to make them different enough because I don't think it's worth it to just make very slightly different alternates.
Are they scary? I never thought of them that way but I've had a few people say that about pieces I didn't intend to be. Which can be disheartening when I was going for something totally different but sometimes I don't mind. I can see how my previous one could be said to have a strange undercurrent.

Keep 'em coming!
Are these meant to be viewed sequentially?

Well, they're quite the uncanny sequence together.
I was thinking the other day you're one of the few visual artists i'd dub 'Aickmanesque.'
That's a big compliment but I thought my stuff was a bit too over the top to be considered similar.
Aickman’s subtlety is over the top too & your work unsettles me in much the same way as his does ( i want -but can’t bring myself- to look away)

I don't think of them as scary but they're definitely uncanny
Good to see you back
