Money money

OK, so heres a topic to discuss. How do people here who self publish, get the cash to do it. blood, 2nd morgages, grants, paper routes? cough up the secrets if you gots em.

My rule has always been, if you can't figure it out, you don't deserve to do it. This is contrary to the so-called "do it yourself" movement these days, but anyhow, beg borrow & steal. There are alot of ways to get free copies. I know all of them. I'm beaming them into your mind Chris, via the crystal highway.

I'm working on a zine right now and I think I'll just pay to have like 50 copies made, sell or give away most of them and then put up a free pdf of the thing online.
Then maybe a few years later I'll Ebay the rest...
As far as paying for it goes, I'll just have to save up a bit.

I think maybe the only 'secret' in self-publishing is to be bloody minded enough to carry through whatever demented scheme you come up with.
