... And she comes out of that victorious. However, she realises that pride is a big sin and she humbly retreats into the wildernis in search of a hermit's living... which she finds in the stomach of a bear... This torture is ended when Death wins the return match.

so a perfectly visible but hidden bear that actually is neutral counts or not as an invincible enemy?
beautiful one marcel! I've always been very fond of that comicbook device of using the rooms of a house as panels. it's something you can only do in comics. it would be great to collect a whole bunch of pages like that in one blogpost.
like for example Eisner, Busch, Ibanez, and of course a nice one from the middle ages. I'm sure we could find many more.
Oh and I just thought of another one: an Alan Moore story in Greyshirt #2. "How Things Work Out" I believe it's called.
I did one myself once where every panel is a section of a shelf, but that's not exactly it I guess.
I remember those zany Ibanez comics, heh heh...
