A Tengu. I penciled this in my sketchbook Wednesday night and then inked it on Thursday night (and into the first light of Friday morning). I need to do a lot more completed pen and ink drawings of various folklore monsters- not for any project in particular, but just to do them. Right now, I don't have any freelance work going, so I have time.

That's wonderful. Quite a modest looking guy too, Tengu is usually more imposing and regal.
...or dashing quickly, sword raised. I just wanted to depict it like it was a portrait.

I was never good at the tubular crow quill nibs- too scratchy for me. I use a bowl-point nib. Thanks for the kind comments! I did another drawing in this series and I have a few more planned, but I'll wait a while to post anything.
