Gum Arabic Transfer Prints.

These are from a workshop I went to , they show you how to use gum arabic to print from photocopies. The print quality of mine is terrible but some of the other people got very crisp prints in different colour combinations.

I like that washed-out blue effect. I'd love to see these on tie-dyed tshirts r something like that. I'd buy one.
Have you considered an Etsy shop?
Have any of you? It's a cool concept..

Aw yeah, I miss using gum arabic. I took several years worth of lithography classes and spent a lot of time rubbing the stuff in to my litho stones with the cheesecloth. If I could afford a small printing press I'd be back into that stuff in a minute.

Great colors by the way.

Thanks chaps!
Luke: I've heard of Etsy and been meaning to check it out, would be innaresting to hear how other Duckers've got on with it if anyone's tried it.
Chris: Thought I may try and do a real simple strip on how to do it, will post it if I ever get it together.

Looks crazy, like batik dying or something... i like the weird phasing in & out nature of it... but at the same time, it is obscuring your lovely line work so... fuck all that.
