Jacob's Shrine

I haven't posted much artwork here lately but here's something I was messing with the other night to try to get a handle on some color effects. I've been caught up with commission work lately but hope to share some of my personal projects in the near future.

Awesome, i love the muted palette and the schizo sky.

Thanks, I'm starting to come to terms with the fact that my Land Of The Moth project might not end up being the black and white universe I originally visioned. There's just too many advantages to using colors, even sparingly. I'm still torn over it though.

This is very well “crafted” (it seems silly to say “crafted” when speaking about digital art) I must say it reassures me when most of the images on our page are directly related to our artistic activities. It is cool to have one of your achievements.

I'm not sure what you mean, I guess you're talking about physically made vs digital, right? Thanks all the same.

This is a really strong piece, looks amazing. The muted colours add a sense of light being emitted from it somehow.
Have you considered selling prints of your digital pieces on real good glossy paper?

Thanks, yeah I've sold a few prints here and there. I need to get a new printer because it doesn't like to grab the glossy paper. But I've noticed on non gloss the blacks are a lot blacker. And I love gloss but it turns blacks into a weird dark greenish blue. I sold some prints to a very high profile photographer recently which kicked me into getting into messing with printing again.
