Nice and gritty, gives me an idea too. I wonder how doing some relief sculpture then rubbing charcoal over it on a sheet of paper could turn out? Could be an interesting way to do a series of prints?
It's very impressive how you mix spontaneous drawing with real precision. The chap on the lower right of the bottom one looks like he's had a really extreme lobotomy....now there's an idea for a new extreme sport. Extreme lobotomy dude...

The line does some wonderful thikgs here, good stuff
Thanks guys, and yeah, it is graphite ( pencils, bars & sticks) with bouts of white acrylic and inkwash.
