Strange to see so many straight lignes in a drawing of yours. It is not my favourite. But the close up and other composition facts make me think that you attempted something with this image. And it’s interesting. Go on. Oriental paintings often have an object or something half out of the picture (as with the eye). That’s may be other emotions/impressions that you attempted here. I’m curious, really curious.

This was drawn very quickly on a scrap of a blank sticker I found. So not very much thought went into it, but I thought it looked ok so scanned it in and messed around with it.
I get sick of doing lots of detail sometimes as it gets predictable. It's never good to be predictable, but hard not to be as you get older.

I don’t know… People somehow expect you to be predictable. I mean, if they like your work they feel betrayed when you stop feeding them (specially with bands), plus there was this prejudice which consisted to say “be yourself” which then became, associated with “put your guts in your art”, something like “we know who you are, if you stop to always do the same thing we’ll accuse you not to be sincere”… and if you sell (I repeat what I heard in the “fine arts environment” it is worse I suppose, people really expect you to sell them the thing which sells…
I think we should just do what we need to.

I had another look at the little drawing… I like it. How could it be my favourite? It's a trifle... and I like it.
