This is the first art of the year. Its a skateboard I painted for the Cherryvale project.
Be thankful you can't see Cruise too clearly because I fucked him up because I can't paint very well. (I'll never hear the end of this.)
I decided to do this because I was trying to think of the kind of board I would like to skate myself.
What does anyone think?

It strikes me as really bizarre, and works equally as a crazy poster for the film.
Yeah that's trueI guess. I'm going to varnish it for a tiny bit of protection but I'd be well happy for someone to give this board a thrashing as God intended. We'll always have pictures to remember it by (sob).
You'd think they'd make skateoards with multiple layers of imagery worked into the wood so as you grind your board you create a decollage.
er... skateboards.
Oh Aeron yet another lovely idea! You could have a more smashed up version of the original art like a Destruction Derby car.
I don't skateboard at all, but I've bought a few here and there if I really like the art. They're up on a wall. I have been called a poser..
