Really good, It has a great hybrid combination of a fetus, a ghost and a spitwad.

yep, this is well impressive.... Have you considered selling it as a print on nice glossy paper?

It really reminds me of the monsters in the stickers you put on the bottom of Castle Greyskull that let us peek into the dungeons below. Full of weird pink polyps. I wonder if i can find a detail picture of those... they used to scare the shit out of me. So wait, are these commercial LP jobs or are you making your own covers for your own work or what?

Thanks everybody.
These are covers for imaginary bands, something I've been doing since junior high. I've never done any commercial work. The inspiration behind this guy is the work of Thedore Kittelson, who is hard to google; people spell his name differently, etc. He did these kinda Nordic, folky drawings. His work graces the covers of a few BURZUM albums.
I'd love to sell these as prints, but I have no experience with it.
With this deal, I struck upon a lucky combination of a 'duo-tone' photoshop setting and setting the brush at just the right hardness and opacity.I'm essentialy slowly building up light on dark.

I've got a book of Troll stories that Kittelsen did the illustrations for. His work is just plain great, although, there are alot of Scandinavian artists who use this same sort of diffuse lighting & bleak yet comfortable images of forests & water & the like. Good stuff man!

Yeah, I got that Troll book. I also have a few small Kittelson prints though they are not super high quality.
