The drawing was too big for the scanner window so I had to mesh two photos together, which explains the weird light/dark contrast near the center. This scan shows the thick tooth of the paper as all those black dots are actually white, just the thickness of the paper grit creating small shadows from the scanner light, I guess? The lines are actually a very faint blue and green but easier to see with contrast pulled up in greyscale. The finished piece will be very very colorful.

Can't wait to see the finished piece. It almost looks abstract at this point.
You can really see how it's a group organism, another goodie I can't wait to see finished!
