wow luke, you always have something going one with your visual language. I love it.
I wasn't all that crazy about this super-sparse vein you've been doing lately, but this one is something else, beautifully disorienting in his simplicity, i particularly like the "crude" touches, the pencil lines and small ink spatter bring a warmth depth to the nutty designs chasing after themselves.
I think you're onto something mixing the sketchy sort of out of focus backgrounds against the more solid lines of the ink abstractions, does a good job pushing in a weird sense of space.
it's the bat signal of some weird psychedelic mound creature! cool stuff.
